Pickleballers is a scorekeeper for a pickleball group. It stores what the group needs to keep score and rank its players, and nothing else.

What the app stores

  • Your account: you sign in with Apple. The app keeps the account id Apple gives it and the name you choose. If you hide your email from the app, Apple's relay address is all it sees.
  • Your group's games: who played, the scores, when, and the rally-by-rally record of games scored live. That is what the rankings are made from.
  • A photo, only if you add one to your player.
  • A device token for notifications, only if you turn them on.

What it doesn't do

  • No analytics or advertising software runs in the app, and no data is sold or shared with advertisers.
  • No location, contacts or health data is read.
  • This website sets no cookies and runs no trackers.

Who can see what

The people in your group see each other's names, games and rankings. A group's organizer can share a live link, a web page that shows the group's current game and leaderboard to anyone who has the link; the organizer can turn that link off at any time.

Deleting your account

In the app, under your account, Delete account removes your sign-in and unlinks you from your player. Games you played stay in your group's history as scores, since the group's rankings are built from them.

Where it's kept

Data is stored with Supabase, a hosting provider, and encrypted in transit.
